xTIMEcomposer licensing

Post by markaren1 »

Hi All,

Having to sign in using my user name and password when I launch xTIMEcomposer makes me very nervous from many angles including personal security, and the possibility that my free development tools may have to be purchased (or much worse still - leased) at some time in the future

It also requires me to be attached to the 'net...

How are you supporting us developers who tend to take the laptop miles from anywhere to a sun-drenched beach and work under the coconut trees miles from any network connectivity ?

What is the long-term plan to support the development tools ?

Comments please.

The community version will still be avilable for users to download for free of charge.  Chekout the answer for the following question for the differences between community and Enterprise versions of the tool:

You need to connect to network only when you register the tool. You should be able to use the tool for development even without connecting to network once the registration is done.
