What do you think? Place your bets now.

I think we will be just under, would be cool if we hit it though.

If you have any friends who would be interested in XCore/XMOS, please do spread the word to see if we can hit this magic number to mark our 1 year of being live!

I am sure our 2nd year will be very exciting as both the community and XMOS continue to grow.

At time of writing this, 820 registered.

You can see the current count on the front page of the forum:

And then scroll to the bottom.

Now 838 as at 01 Dec.

So we need 186 over the next 31 days. Which just so happens to be exactly 6 new users per day!

Time to place those bets.

I will send an XMOS tshirt to whoever is closest.

If you go for the same number as someone else, then the person who posted it first wins, so be original :-)

I did a quick calculation that its going to be around 930 users on new year if it keeps going at the same rate. So i guess we are not reaching 2^10 on new year, but hey anything can happend

hi Jason, you can add box "invited by member" when the new user what join xcore. like this

username => .......... :D
address email => ..... :D
......................
invited by => "name of member how is a member of xcore before" :D

to active the members to invite his friends and also specially how want learn and discover XMOS

and maybe if you want the most member invited can win the prize. :oops:

Like a referral scheme? Certainly do-able, how many people are interested in this? Could have a prize each month or so for the person who has referred the most "active" people - ie to avoid people just signing up with fake accounts...

Anyone interested in this feature? I guess if someone referred you, it could also suggest people you may know through them eg from their existing friends on XCore etc...
