I want to buy few XS1-L6A-64-TQ48-C5 but at Digikey and Farnell there is a backorder to June 2021!
Some other XMOS chips - the same thing.
What happened? Thew were manufactured at burned AKM factory?

Thank you, mon2. They have only 3pcs, I need at least 10. Also I need some XUF208-256-TQ64-C10 which are also out of stock.

But the question was - is something happened with production or there are some other reasons?
Because I have seen many many other XMOS partnumbers out of stock with a 5-6 month lead time!

Check with Digikey on the same request.

Have emailed our contact @ XMOS to check on the status as well. Will see what is the official status.

Came across the attached document. This may explain the lag in the sourcing.

Thank you, mon2.
Yes, this can explain the lag with XUF, but not with XS1.

Hi everyone,

I was talking to head of operations about this and this is the reply I got.

1) XS1-L6A-TQ64-TQ48-C5 is on long lead time like all other parts because of industry wide supply crunch currently. We are planning building more in Q1 and potentially we may be able to pull in some to Digikey and/or Farnell.

2) As you are aware thru PCN issued a while back, we had transition from 90nm flash memory (obsoleted by our supplier) to 65nm flash memory, thus the XUF208-256-TQ64-C10 is replaced with XUF208-256-TQ64-C10A part. We will stock Digikey etc. with the new parts in due course in, probably in Q1.

Hope this helps.
Miguel
