I never went into level to understand XMOS assembly language instructions. Maybe in future. For now it looks like things are working ok.

Excellent, glad it is working for you. I never took the time to look at the assembly listing before so it's worthwhile for peace of mind on my own project to know it's safe to not call fl_disconnect()
