XVF3510 INT -> UA

Post by hyunduk0206 »

Hi,

I purchased XK-XVF3510-L7I-AVS (INT) and evaluated well.

Next, I installed UA firmware for evaluation.

The command written in Command Prompt (Community_14.4.1) is as follows (please, check the attachment ).
————————————————————————————————————————————–
xflash –no-compression –boot-partition-size 1048576 –factory bin\app_xvf3510_ua_v4_0_0.xe –data data-partition\images\data_partition_factory_ua_v4_0_0.bin
————————————————————————————————————————————–

But it doesn’t work and no sound is detected (please, check the attachment).

Would you please solve my problem?

Thank you,

Hyunduk Shin.

Strange. The syntax looks correct.

Try to reflash your kit with the INT firmware. Does that still work ok?

Suggest to raise a support ticket with XMOS to at least confirm that the applied firmware is working and is the latest.

Please post your updates here.

Thank you for your answer.

I reflashed the kit with the INT firmware... and it also doesn't work and I can't use both INT and UA.

I also raised a support ticket with the same content yesterday and I am waiting the response.

I will post the updates when I get the response from XMOS.

Dear all,

The problem is solved with the help of XMOS support.

The problem was due to partial incompatibility with old hardware (1.0V and 1.1V) and new firmware (1.2V or later).

To solve the problem, MIC_DATA test point must be connected to Test Point 18 (TP18) using a short wire.

See below for details.
