XMOS Hot

Post by rp181 »

I just recieved the XC-1A development board. When it is running a program that just turns on an LED and enters a infinite loop, the XMOS chips gets very hot (too hot to touch). Is this normal? Do i need a heatsink?

This is normal... the G4 runs quite hot but no heatsink is needed.
