XTAG 2 Connector

Post by tyler »

Hello,

I am designing a board and for simplicity (ie no on board FTDI) I would like to used an XTAG2 to program it.

I've been searching but can't seem to find the specification on the actual connector on the XTAG2. I believe it is a 2x10 .1" header, but don't know the exact specs on the connector (polarizing tabs, etc).

Does anyone have a link to the part used by XMOS on their boards to mate with the XTAG2 (or the appropriate documentation that describes it)? I currently have only an XC-1A so have nothing to look at.

Thanks,
Tyler

There is a spec for the XTAG in the XTAG-2 hardware manual and is referred to as the XSYS connector...

Go to

https://www.xmos.com/user/9513/dashboard/documentation

then scroll down to XTAG-2

Alternatively you also might want to take a look at the schematics and hardware guide of the XK-1.
It contains the info you need.

The XTAG2 connector you have to provide on your board is boxed IDC header 2x10 with polarizing key and 0.1" pitch.
