Nintendo DS Mods?

Just wondering about something. I got the first Nintendo DS, pretty old, but it has 2 screens and a touch-screen. I wonder if I could just re-use the parts on a XMOS prototype, just for fun? ;-)

The screens could be really useful if you can find a datasheet for them. I did a search a while back and the best hit I found was someone who had replace the small screens with a couple of laptop screens.

I've got one of my kids broken DS's lying in my useful junk pile waiting to be recycled, I mean fixed ;-)
