I got the regulator and reset triggers working, so I soldered everything else on. Unfortunately its drawing 700ma, and gets hot quickly. Will need to debug now =/
Note: Yes its bad soldering, had to replace components a bunch of times. The picture makes the flux look worse than it is!

You can easily clean the extra flux with isopropyl alcohol (2-propanol) or with acetone :). Btw, the boards look quite good ! Good Work !!!

Thats after wiping it down with IPA. The camera makes it look much worse than it actually is though.

Not yet, Ive been super busy. Im going to give it a look tomorrow, I will probably end up soldering another one. Got some thinner solder, a vacuum pickup today, and a PCB clamp today so it will go much better.

Everything is on, except the processor, associated filter caps, and the flash chip. I have clean power sequencing, reset and JTAG reset, and clock signals.

yep. That $12 PCB clamp and thinner solder did wonders.
As always, still looks better in real life when you cant see every little mistake. The solder looks quite interesting in the picture, on the inductor.

I soldered the XMOS processor on. The core is drawing roughly 20ma, which seems too low. I have not connected the JTAG yet, so could this be because it is trying to boot from flash, but is unable due to configuration? I have the mode pins tied to TRST.
