User case article about XC

Post by aclassifier »

Off Topic
I have written a rather thorough article for a Norwegian web coder's magazine. It's in Norwegian, but Google translate does a fairly good job.
This is how he controls his aquarium with XC. Øyvind Teig gives you a full overview of how he built the XMOS system
Everything, including code, start at my kode24 note.
Standard disclaimer, also covers my relationship with kode24.no

Thank you for the article, very interesting. It makes more sense once an English speaker understands that Google Translate thinks "tasks" are "bags".

Thanks, #akp!

"task" > "bag"! I hadn't noticed that! I looked over the headings and did change some of those. If I had read more of it I guess I had changed "task" to "process" which is not correct XC speak. That being said, I have used it a lot for German sites and it's quite a good tool.

I will tell it that it should use "task" in the future, really - that it should not translate it! But it doesn't obey from one feedback only.
