Hi everyone,

This morning, Windows did his update and after that it doesn't recognize the xTag3.
I'm now on Windows 10 Pro (version 1709 - OS Build 16299.125).
C:\Users\xxx>xrun -l
Available XMOS Devices
----------------------
No Available Devices Found

C:\Users\xxx>xflash usb_aud_XU208.xe
Error: F03136 No devices attached - Cannot run the enquirer until a device is found
I tried to update the driver of xTag and nothing. I tried to connect the xTag on every usb port whichever 3.0 or 2.0 and still nothing.

Someone has the same problem than me ?

I just had exactly the same problem with ST-Link debugger this morning after windows update last night. Tried all ports etc then tried on another PC that hadn't updated and it was fine. I uninstalled the update and all good. I have an xTag3 but I didn't try it on the latest update as I reverted.

The problem is that I can't go back to my previous version of Windows... I must have cleaned the pc with ccleaner between the moment it updated and the moment I tried to use the xTag...
I don't know what I can do to solve this problem and it bother me a lot...

Can you test with the XMOS tools running in compatibility mode and post your results?

update

See the solution here from Mark Bongers which may be suitable for you - please test and post your results for future readers:

I don't find any xMOS tools in the list except for uninstall.
When I check in the directory file of xMOS to launch Studio or Command Prompt they use a batch file and I don't see the tab "Compatibility".

I tested to turn off the fast-boot and nothing change.
A month ago I cloned my hdd to a new ssd. I still have a old backup, if I don't find a solution. I will boot on this one to use xTag.
