XS1-G04B-FB512 part for Eagle

Post by Gravis »

I am starting work on a very comprehensive robotics control board and would like to use the full potential of the XMOS line of processors, the XS1-G4 (512 BGA). I have found Eagle libraries including everything EXCEPT the 512 BGA package. Has someone posted a library with this and I missed it or will I have to build upon the 144 BGA part?

There are footprints and symbol files on the XS-4G product page of xmos.com. True that none of them are for eagle, but you can probably find a way to import them. There is also a pin list file that has the pin numbers and names in a table so you can quickly import that if you make your own symbol. I successfully imported the symbols in to AltiumDesigner 09 (Footprints didn't even try since altium can generate footprints automatically)

Not sure how easy this stuff is in eagle since i stopped using it many years ago(The user friendliness is just horrible in my opinion)
