Will there be a code generator for Xmos devices for Matlab/Simulink ?

I have played with the idea.
If you build one, you might be able to sell it. It happened with the Blackfin I believe.
Someone made a Simulink library, that later became a product.
On the other-hand, Labview (National Instruments) also supported Blackfin for a while before they change to the Rio hardware (Freescale/PowerPC).
Would you prefer Simulink over LabView ?
You can run a MATLAB server in LabView as well. But all this is very far from open source.

I would prefer Simulink over Labview.
I use Simulink to simulate communication systems.
I'm not able nor have the time to write a code generator.
We will get some bachelor students in the next month and I will maybe supervise them.
So I`m just thinking about themes, boards and software for the projects.

Have you noticed the change between MATLAB R2010 and earlier vs R2011 ?
(I hadn't)
The Target support package and the Embedded IDE Link toolboxes has changed to
http://www.mathworks.se/products/embedded-coder/
Click play
It seems to be more generalized.
