If paranormal effects can generate energy like that, the ghost detector could use energy harvesting techniques to eliminate the need for a battery. Developing the idea further, given that there must be millions of ghosts around, all emitting energy, they could provide a useful, free, clean energy source which will increase over time, as more and more ghosts are created! :D

I wasn't all that sure, a lot of people believe in the paranormal.

and when I look at it.. it would explode = bad firmware reset procedure.
