How to update sc_usb and sc_xud

Hi
The design advisory guide says that I have to update sc_usb and sc_xud, but doesn't describe how.
I guess I'm affected, because the two board I ordered are version 2V0 and raspberry Pi OS doesn't recognise any usb sound cards if I connect them.
I want to use the boards with the open source software ODAS.

I also installed xTIMEcomposer but don't get how to load the software onto the chip.
I connected it over the little board that came with it.
Can someone give me a step by step guide on how to update this two modules?
