Hello all

Postby Vaati » Wed Dec 29, 2010 4:22 am

Greetings! This sub-forum seems to have accumulated a great quantity of dust lately, so I thought I'd post something.

My name is Forest, and I'm 16. This coming Fall I'll be majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering, which I hope will give me a chance to brush up on some basics of electronics and expand my knowledge of programming even more. I really got into programming around 3 years ago, and have been fascinated with microcontrollers, programming, and the like.

As part of the XMOS community, I hope to learn more about XMOS devices and make some exciting new projects. This seems like a really great community and I hope to get to know everyone a little better.

This is a great time to be an electronics student! You get to work with a powerful mix of hardware and software--when I started it was all analog hardware and math until third year when digital electronics was introduced (and software was treated as a separate subject!)

I'll be interested to hear about your projects.
