Like FPGA's good or bad for those that need to sort through the abstraction because there are

The answer is yes. how and are the interconnects, compliant?
If yes then it primarily software, maybe some FIFO if you run it fast.
If not it could be more trouble than its worth.
It's sound and looks very flexible, I'll look deeper.

On two occasions I have been asked, 'Pray, Mr. Babbage, if you put into the machine wrong figures, will the right answers come out?' I am not able rightly to apprehend the kind of confusion of ideas that could provoke such a question.
