Re: Basic XLink Demo

Hi Bambus,

Could you provide some details of the hardware setup you're using for the xLINKs, please? How have the links been configured, in the XN file?

Cheers,
Sam

Re: flash on mic boards

Hi pisljar, As far as I know all of the microphone array boards feature xCORE or VocalFusion chips with builtin flash. Which code base are you running on your board? I would expect that the only times the flash was accessed would be during boot (unless the debug adaptor is used to boot the board via...

Re: Settings compiler flags for SPI Slave Boot Loader thru XTime Composer Studio

Is there any field that I can insert those extra flags, or should I directly edit the Makefile at source level as: Switching to the "Source" tab in the Makefile editor allows you to edit parts of the Makefile for which there aren't fields in the "Options" view. The "Options...

Re: Chicken and egg: xTIMEcomposer and GitHub

The source for most (but not all) app notes can be found in the "examples" directory of the relevant library repository on github.com/xmos, rather than as separate repos for each note. To ease the versioning of your own code, I'd suggest that you structure your application such that it is ...

Re: XDE11.11.1, XTimeComposer 13.2.3 and xmake "*** no rule to make target for 'all' stop"

Hi fubxmos22, The only thing I definitely know now is that the two versions influence each other and have some for me hidden dependicies. There are .project and .cproject files in each module, which allow them to be imported as projects into xTIMEcomposer. There is also a .metadata/ directory at the...

Re: xflash problem cant find target XN

Hi bearcat, I believe it should be possible to run xflash without passing in a target file when using an xe file (as the xe contains the required information). When I attempted running a similar command to yours with tools 14.3.0, but omitting both the --target-file and --spi-spec arguments, xflash ...

Re: iOS not support XHRA-2HPA-TQ64

Hi Kanae, The development platform for the XHRA-2HPA-TQ64 is powered by the 5V VBUS line, and therefore require a connection to a standard USB host. For applications requiring iOS support, the xCORE-200 Multichannel Audio platform can be used as an MFi compliant reference design, or starting point f...

Re: Recommendation for XE232-1024-FB374?

Hi Jack,

There should be no problem using the XE232-1024-FB374.
The small BGA will require the use of HDI PCBs to allow microvias or stacked microvias, at the point that you're trying to bring out more than about half of the I/O.

Cheers,
Sam

Re: Recommendation for XE232-1024-FB374?

Hi Jack, There are a couple of package choices for the dual tile xCORE-200, and selecting which of these or the quad tile package comes down to the requirements of your project. Some general observations though: - The XE232 BGA package offers high inter-node bandwidth, with four 5-wire links interna...
