Robot love and inverted pendulum

Post by leon_heller »

I just came across this when I was looking for an XMOS clip to impress someone:

WRoNz6_SDI8

I can't find out anything about the FULCWARE Inverted Pendulum, it presumably doesn't use an XMOS chip.

I don't think the FULCWARE pendulum robot uses XMOS, but this one does:

It was done as a student project at Bristol University last year.

The FULCWARE one seems more stable. :) Any more info on it?

I hope your Japanese is up to scratch. If not, this google translation whilst not perfect may help:

Leon - you may want to contact this user who has just joined XCore.com who I think may be from Fulcware.

Hello heller-san, dave-san, Ross-san, jason-san,

Thank you to be interested in FULCWARE's Inverted Pendulum. :)

It uses an XK-1 for control by 2 cells battery,
and PUPPY for base, MCP3204 for A/D convertor.
*PUPPY is produced by HOKUTO-DENSHI.
http://www.hokutodenshi.co.jp/7/PUPPY.htm

MCP3204 is mounted on free land PCB, and tied with the spacer.

I changed some GAIN parameter of PUPPY.

Thank you too.

I'm planning 2-axis Inverted Pendulum for PUPPY2.

*PUPPY2 is produced by HOKUTO-DENSHI too.

I'll upload video, when done.
